Introduction To Travel Logs
Dear Reader:
I invite you to experience a treasure trove of 15 wonderful adventures we have taken in North America and Europe! I have, in the past, distributed 500 hard copies of these to family and friends and now I would love to share them with a wider audience of readers. This website includes a digital copy of all 15 logs with extensive photos for each one.
Those of you who have not yet taken these trips will find the logs truly unique, full of interesting stories, easy to read and accompanied by many, vivid and colourful photos. Since I have written the logs in the present tense and detailed them on a daily basis, you will feel, as many of my readers have, “it is just like being there!”. So, join us on each trip – seeing interesting, historical sites, tasting delicious meals, partying with many musical rock bands. You will also have a good feel for the emotional ups and downs, the high points and the low of our journeys.
As you read, you may be able to scout out your next trip or relive memories and experiences of your own travels. Perhaps you simply want to use your imagination and get a ‘virtual reality thrill of learning about another’s adventures.

I personally wrote all the logs. My husband, Ron, planned much of our travels. We frequently used Eyewitness travel books to guide us and I would highly recommend them. Ron took all the photographs while I made up the photo collages. The photo pages accompany each log so you can read some text, view some photos, read more text and see more photos. You will note that each log is dated; however, the journey and much of the sites are timeless!
These logs and photos have taken an incredible amount of time and effort to produce. The logs, in total, number almost 1,000 typewritten pages and include over 3,000 photos on almost 800 photo pages. Thus, you will see I am charging a nominal amount to purchase each log. Think of your purchase this way – each log is available to you for only the same price as buying a few songs on iTunes. And you get so many delightful stories and photos in each log!
